BOB DUNN, founder and publisher of MarketingYourSmallBiz.com, is an entrepreneur, speaker, and small business marketing expert who is always in search of the next big idea. He started the MarketingYourSmallBiz.com blog to spark creativity and innovation among small business owners and to give small biz a place to gather, ponder challenges and reflect on issues of the day. Some of Bob’s core values, which guided his award-winning marketing communications and consulting firm, Cat’s Eye Group, are: corporate leaders have social responsibilities; a sense of fun is essential to a happy and productive workplace and; creativity should be nurtured and supported. Bob has learned life lessons from Woody Allen, John Cleese and Curly, of the Three Stooges.
JUDY DUNN, editor of MarketingYourSmallBiz.com, has written customer-focused sales and promotional copy for small businesses and nonprofit organizations since 1993. Except for a couple of career detours in school leadership and third world development management, she has always wanted to be a writer. Judy has loved words as long as she can remember. In kindergarten, long before rap was on the scene, she could recite, in syncopated rhythm and alphabetical order, the names of all 29 kids in her class. Judy knows by heart every line of dialogue from Spinal Tap, the 1984 rockumentary, and The Out-of-Towners (the remake of the old Jack Lemmon movie, with Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn).
